Artist Statement

I am interested in moving images that clamorously fill a silent space without verbal language or sound. At the start of my work process, I draw images of objects from my daily life, convert them into digital forms, and play with various compositions. For example, in creating a stone wall, I draw various stones of different sizes and colors and build a wall with the stone images. Similarly, in creating a room, I first draw a desk, a lamp, and a closet and then compose each object in the room space. Therefore, it is more accurate to say that I ¡°make¡± these moving images rather than ¡°draw¡± them. It is difficult to find a focal point in my work because every image moves, like the kaleidoscopes of our lives. By using images of objects from my daily life and fusing them with different motions and speeds, my work constantly moves.
